Applications for 2009 Scholarships are now being accepted.
Beginning in 2008 we have opened the Lance Corporal Phillip E. Frank Memorial Scholarship up nationally. Two scholarships will be awarded. One scholarship will be given to a high school student, the other a military member or veteran about to enter an institution of higher education.
Both scholarships have a $1,000 value.
All applicants: All applicants must exemplify the spirit of The Heart of a Marine ideal, which are; honor, patriotism, loyalty, respect and concern for others. Grade Point Average is not a requirement. Character is what is important.
High School Students: The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who will be enrolling at an accredited college/trade school within one year of receiving the scholarship.
Military/Veterans: The scholarship is available to discharged military personnel who are returning to civilian life and continuing their education. Veterans are also encouraged to apply.
Scholarship monies will be sent directly to accredited college/trade school to which the recipient has been accepted.
